The Cunning Linctus: Summer Holiday pt.4

In part 17 of the story of the Lifestyle Circle on a Summer Holiday, after an exhausting oysters and champagne breakfast, they head off to the beach to laze the afternoon away.

After a rather exhausting morning, they all lazed around, snoozing, chatting and/or snuggling. It was about 10:30 when there was a bit of movement, whether toilet, stretches or making coffee. Once they were all up and refreshed, the consensus was that they would have lunch on the beach and the rest of the day swimming and sun-baking.

The guys filled the cooler box with beer, orange juice and water, collected the beach umbrella, some blankets and the surf boards. The ladies packed some lunch and prepared their beach bags - towels, sun-screen and a basic first-aid kit (thanks to ever-ready Tess).

They headed off down the track, passing a couple of parked cars of day-visitors before the warning sign.

The path twisted through scrubby sand dunes then down an embankment to the golden sandy beach. Rocky bluffs with cliffs stretched out either side of the cove. Glancing along the beach, they noticed two couples off to the left, so they headed off to the right to set up 'camp'.

They selected a spot high up the beach, under an overhanging grassed embankment. This gave them a bit of protection should the afternoon hot northerly wind pick up. They scooped out a little hollow below the bank to place their drink and food hampers, out of the sun. With the umbrella erected and blanket and beach-towels spread out, they sat down in pairs to start applying sun-screen. Pat leaned in to Trevor and whispered, "I like you! A lot!". They slipped their arms around each other's waist, and Trevor replied "You're pretty special yourself!". They turned to each other at the same time, and kissed as they continued to walk.

They reached the far end of the beach, just under the first low cliffs, crossing a little spring flowing into the cove, found a sandy patch and spread their towel and lay down together. Pat continued, "After I booted out my ex, I got desperate and tried to seduce Jack, my next door neighbour. He was very kind and understanding and took me in to talk with Emily. She explained to me the different sorts of sex, which surprised me. There's love making, which is what I thought was the only sort of sex. Then there's sex for fun like in this circle of friends, then there's 'comfort sex' which is what I needed back then. I am out of needing comfort now and have been enjoying the fun like this weekend."

"But love and fun aren't mutually exclusive, are they?" responded Pat, pulling Trevor against her. Sitting on the edge, they dangled their feet in to test the depth, then slipped in together with the water up to breast high. As the little waves rolled across the pool, the water level rose and fell across Pat's naked breasts in a sort of caressing motion.
